Around 1960's Ladies started to changed their fashion trying to look like barbie. They spent a lot of money on their looks as well as hair styles. In 1966, the national organization for women works on women rights. The summer of 1967 was called "The summer of love" due to the large hippies during that time. In general in the 60's there was a lot of movements in rights. Also people were anti-war trying to live their lives in peace and that effected even their musics and songs. The songs were protesting the war reflecting the sad voices of women and children crying and screaming.
